Teaching & Retreats

Relational mindfulness is at the center of my teaching. I also teach Buddhist meditation, trauma-informed practice, ecodharma, and community-based mindfulness through retreats, trainings, groups, institutions, and one-on-one work.

  • Mindfulness for BIPOC communities
  • Young adult practice

Dharma Homies

I am a co-founder of Dharma Homies, a community centered on relational, trauma-informed Buddhist practice, with a strong commitment to BIPOC communities and young adults. Through Dharma Homies, I lead relational mindfulness programs, teacher trainings, retreats, and community practice.

Retreats & group practice

I lead and co-lead retreats, daylongs, relational mindfulness groups, and ongoing practice spaces. Sitting meditation, relational practice, movement, and time in nature are often woven together, though the shape varies depending on the context and community.

Formats range from single-day intensives to multi-day residential retreats. Some are open to the general public; others are designed for specific communities, organizations, or training cohorts.

Young adults & BIPOC communities

I have extensive experience teaching teens and young adults, including through Inward Bound Mindfulness Education and Dharma Homies. I'm committed to practice spaces that are culturally responsive, trauma-informed, and genuinely supportive of BIPOC practitioners.

In practice, this means attending to how race, culture, identity, and belonging shape what's possible in relationship and community, and creating spaces where those dimensions can be named and included rather than treated as separate from practice.

Ecodharma & nature-based practice

My teaching includes connection with land, nature, and the more-than-human world as a dimension of Buddhist practice. I have served as faculty for UC Berkeley's Personal & Collective Climate Resilience course, and I bring an ecodharma lens to retreats, groups, and individual work.
